We've brought back our favourite event from 2025 - our Lit-tea-rary fundraiser!
An afternoon for book lovers, our Lit-tea-rary Tea Party is our spin on the international Tea Party for M.E. which has raised over $100,000 for ME/CFS charities all over the world.
Paired with a secondhand book swap, this is a perfect afternoon for book lovers to get together for an afternoon of bookish joy.
What: Lit-Tea-rary Tea Party & Book Swap Fundraiser for M.E.

Where: St Stephen's Hall, 14 Tamahere Drive (Hamilton)
Cost: $40 ($10 from every ticket donated to ME/CFS support)

Join our Lit-tea-rary Tea Party
Relax with a cup of tea, refresh your TBR with some new books (including a free book for all attendees), and help us raise funds for people with ME/CFS in NZ.
We will have a range of tasty treats including gluten, dairy free and vegan options, as well as a wide range of teas and hot drinks to enjoy.

Bring up to 10 preloved books to exchange as part of our secondhand book swap.
And as an added bonus, each guest gets a free book to take home too! -
Can't make it in person?
If you can't attend in person, you can still join us to 'Read for M.E.'
Set aside some time on the day to read a book, enjoy something yummy, and donate the price you’d expect to pay in a cafe to help us raise funds to support people with ME/CFS in NZ.
