Anne-Marie (she/her)
If it doesn’t involve a computer, then it’s likely Anne-Marie is responsible for it! She enjoys sourcing second hand books, packaging orders, and running the social media accounts. Her main work station is her bed, as she is often bedbound by her chronic illnesses.
As such, she enjoys the escape and joy books bring, and enjoys challenging herself to read 52 books a year. When not reading or resting, she enjoys gardening (and has an impressive collection of succulents and house plants - too many to count!)
When asked her favourite genre she said “honestly, I read pretty much everything! You’ll usually find me reading fiction over non-fiction, but you can catch me reading anything from general adult fiction to YA, to fantasy, to sci-fi, to historical fiction”.
Moses (he/him)
Moses is the guy behind the computer screen, keeping the website running, uploading new stock, and answering emails. He’s a bit of a champion, as all of this is done around his full-time work in the social services, and while supporting his disabled wife.
When not doing these things, he enjoys tinkering about the home and garden, and playing board games. He is a keen baker and has a pet sourdough called Alexander Hamilton (because he’s gonna “rise up!”)
His favourite book genres are science fiction (fiction) and business (non-fiction).
